Is this allowed?

Somewhat? Let me explain.

Officially by the developer? No. However, Cosmo has protections to prevent users from using
malicious mods and cheats to otherwise gain advantages in game. Additionally, it has server
sandboxing, which means that unless you really want to mess with AstroUp, you'd be doing
nothing.

Why create Cosmo?

No reason at all. I just love messing with Astrogon and want to share that love to as many
people as possible. Additionally, since the developer basically said that this project is
not maintained anymore, I want to create a ecosystem in which updates are actually
released, with new features and desired changes.

Does this go against any TOS?

Technically, yes. Kosmoon Studio themselves said that game modification is strictly prohibited
and will actively take measures to make sure it does not happen. However, most of the new
features, skins, and textures were created by community mods, and I do not see the need
or necessity to kill creativity. after all, I developed AstroUp, something that was not very
TOS, yet still recieved massive support from the community and devs themselves.

Modding? What is Modding?

Modding is the act of modifying how the game acts to certain conditions or players, in short:
Modding extends the capability of a game by allowing others to add features that otherwise
would not be available by normal means.

Wouldn't that be cheating?

ughhh... no. Sometimes modding can lead to cheating, however, with Cosmo, the most you can
really do is just copy paste blocks faster or find out why you died, along other useful things,
so no, as long as you dont gain an advantage, it's not cheating.

How do I create a Mod?

Check out the Documentation thats in the main page of this site! It shows a lot of helpful
info for anyone with any set amount of skill, from new to modding to skilled modders.

How do I share my Mod?

Show your mods off in the Cosmo Discord server! You could also share them in the Astrogon
Discord server, but you have a high likelyhood of getting your message deleted. You can also
submit your mod to get put on the Mod Listing page so it can get approved for public use!

Is this free/have ads/monetary incentives?

This project is free of use to anyone. no ads or monetary incentives involved, as to why,
I'm a high school student, I dont need money and I'd rather not charge for something
that others can enjoy, if you want, you can donate to me for my college fund on my
